The colors and textures of the forest ... if you look carefully. I found this lovely family of mushrooms living in the cavity at the base of this old moss covered tree. Looks a bit like a "fairyland". I almost expected to see a little gnome sitting on one of the shrooms..... Photographed in the White Mountains of Arizona. August, 2009
