Jerome is a small community built on the side of a mountain. It was once, many years ago, a mining town. Then the "hippies" took it over and it became their town. It overlooks the Verde Valley and stretches some 1500 feet down the mountainside. Not far from Sedona. Jerome, Arizona 09-08
