We drove down from Jacob Lake where we were staying in the wee hours of the morning (5:30 in fact), through a white out blizzard, to get to the north rim of the canyon before sunrise. The weather on the rim had warmed to above freezing, so there was no snow on the rim...just a little sleet. I found a spot on the Bright Angel Point and tried to warm my hands as I waited for the sunrise. Grand Canyon, Arizona 8-09
