Photo taken on north east edge of White Rock Lake in Dallas, TX. Bright sun helps to show off the beautiful iridescent green head and orange legs of the male mallard duck. As he turns from the sun, his head feathers will appear dark blue in color.It was discouraging to see so much trash and filth in this part of the lake. Bottles and junk were floating everywhere. The water was a dark murky brown.
