Klipspringers are small, cliff dwelling antelopes with excellent eyesight and rubbery hooves that keep them from slipping on wet rocks. They have preorbital glands in front of their eyes that secrete a tar-like substance, like black tearsdrops, that are rubbed on trees to mark their territory.
