This bird expert examines a baby broad-tailed humming bird before she bands the young bird. All the migrating hummers that were caught this morning were examined, measured, recorded, banded, rehydrated and released. Once a year in July this "humming bird banding" takes place at Sipes White Mountain Wildlife Refuge in Nutrioso, Arizona. 2009
