About 10,000 ft. elevation at its top, Escudilla Mountain is a beautiful place to picnic, hike, or look for wildlife. At its base is Hulsey Lake, a very picturesque little trout lake where I have taken many pictures of herons and osprey. Located in the White Mountains between Alpine and Nutrioso.
